IMAGE STYLING
Image Styling begins with the meeting of the Person, Art and design. Shapes, lines, proportions, Colours and materials become tools for creating an intentional, individual Image.
In my work, I distinguish three design approaches: Style through Repetition, Style through Contrast and Independent Style. They are not categories into which a Person must fit, but three ways of interpreting and creating their Image.
Each approach can take shape through ready-to-wear garments, bespoke creations, projects in dialogue with Art, and clothing for special occasions, including Bridal Styling. The choice follows the design concept, not a predetermined rule.
