The term Image Stylist and the professional role of 'Image Stylist' emerged from my personal need and desire to give a name to my entire career path, which began in 1994 as an artist and was later expanded in 2023 to include the role of image consultant. As an artist, I have explored various disciplines (primarily painting and sculpture), but I have always been fascinated by and loved fashion as well; over the years, I have designed not only my own clothes but also those of some friends of mine. Combining these two career paths into a single term wasn't so easy for me: I had to find a definition that fully met the requirements of both art and fashion. And so the role of 'Image Stylist' was born - a role that is neither that of a fashion designer nor that of an image consultant: fashion designers, after all, create styles independently of any specific person, while image consultants do not design. An Image Stylist, on the other hand, is a well-rounded professional with a wide range of skills who can truly meet the various needs of every Individual (women, men, children, professionals, brides and grooms). The Image Stylist guides you on a Journey of Self-Discovery toward a refined Style that's just right for you; she builds on the Style you've already developed. The Image Stylist studies the History of Fashion and Art; understands the aesthetic principles of the Human Body and the Face; designs both Personal and Professional 'tailor-made' Styles, Bridal Styles, and Styles that blend Fashion with Art; she explores the social, cultural, and political significance of Style throughout its history and evolution; she is well-versed in the new disciplines of Beauty and Personal Care; she learns Communication Techniques and how to apply them in practice; her Expertise is grounded in evidence produced by the Scientific and Artistic Communities.
