The Birth of a Profession

2023 - The Stilista dell'Immagine®
My journey in Art, which began in 1994, gradually led me to explore Image Styling as an expression of the Person.
Through the study of Forms, Colours and Materials, Drawing and artistic practice, I developed an approach in which the Image does not arise from the application of predetermined models, but from a creative process shaped by the encounter with the Person.

In 2023, I created the Stilista dell'Immagine® profession, giving a distinct identity to a new approach to conceiving and designing the Image of the Person. As a Stilista dell'Immagine® I meet, observe and listen to the Person; explore the languages of Art, study the Effects of Colour, design Forms and proportions, select Materials and Fabrics, and translate the Idea of Style into artistic and technical drawings, through to its realisation.
It is a profession that brings together Art and design expertise, in which the Person takes an active part in the creation of their own Image.

2025 - The Founding of APSI
On 27 October 2025, I founded APSI - Associazione Professionale Stilista dell'Immagine®, of which I am President, to give the profession an association dedicated to the education, qualification and representation of Stilisti dell'Immagine®.
APSI promotes a professional culture in which the rigour of scientific and artistic knowledge meets the freedom of Creation, respecting the uniqueness of the Person and the ethical and professional principles of the profession.
The Association is included in the lists held by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) among professional associations authorised to issue an Attestation of Quality and Professional Qualification of Services Provided, under the applicable legal framework.
